$1000 cash award to the winning team + 1-year possession of the Water Spirit trophy!

Category A, no wetsuits allowed. Santa Cruz Island to East Beach
Approximately 26 miles.

Cost per swimmer: $250 Includes • after swim banquet/awards • medal • long-sleeve t-shirt

Each team must provide their own boat, captain, kayaks, and paddlers. SBCSA will approve the boats. Skipper must be a well seasoned SB channel pilot. A kayak paddler must accompany the swimmer at all times but may not lead the swimmer. Read about the 2008 race
