Julian Rusinek Scholarship
New for 2014!
SBCSA lifetime member Julian Rusinek has funded a scholarship intended to assist financially needy American marathon swimmers who wish to swim the Santa Barbara Channel.
Each scholarship can range up to $500 towards SBCSA sanctioning fees and may be awarded to US residents who demonstrate both a financial need and commitment to completing a solo swim across one of our channels. Recipients must also be a good steward of our sport and respect the traditional rules of marathon swimming.
Marathon swimmers who wish to be reviewed for this scholarship should contact firstname.lastname@example.org for the application requirements. The application deadline is May 1st.
