California Triple Crown of Marathon Swimming

The California Triple Crown is a marathon swimming achievement defined by successful unassisted swims of the three most historically significant marathon swims in California: the Catalina Channel, Santa Barbara Channel, and the Lake Tahoe (lengthwise).

The Santa Barbara Channel leg of the California Triple Crown may be fulfilled by cross-channel swims between the mainland and any of the four northern Channel Islands - Anacapa, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, or San Miguel.

As of year-end 2021, 30 swimmers have completed all three swims. For the most up-to-date, official list of California Triple Crown swimmers, please see the Marathon Swimmers Federation’s LongSwims Database.
